Edit live stories safely
Update a published story in a draft while readers keep seeing the live version. Preview your changes and publish when they are ready. Autosave, which we switch on for you, keeps your work every few seconds.
Approve before it goes out
Editors write and save; publishers decide what goes live. Turn on publisher approval, and every story gets a second pair of eyes before readers see it.
Schedule ahead
Write tonight, go live at breakfast. Schedule articles, events and series, and they publish on their own, right on time.
Reach readers
Your stories travel further than your homepage. News feeds and aggregators pick them up, search engines read your article data, and readers find what they want by text, category or author.
Long reads and sensitive content
Split long reads into pages, so they stay easy to follow. Mark a story as 18+, and readers confirm their age before they read on.
Questions before you start
Can we place our own ads?
Yes. We set up the banner spots on your site with you, and JORD publishes the ads.txt file your advertising partners need. Managing ad spots yourself in the admin is on the roadmap.
Is there a paywall or reader subscriptions?
No paywall: every published article is open to all readers, which keeps your stories easy to find and share.
Can readers comment?
No. JORD has no comment section, so there is nothing to moderate.
Is there a live blog?
Update the live story in a draft and publish each update. Readers always see the latest published version.
Can you move our archive?
Yes, as a paid service. We look at your current site, send you a quote and move the stories you choose.
Is the admin in English?
Yes. The admin, our guides and sign-up are in English, Hungarian, German, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Ukrainian and Russian, so everyone in your newsroom can work in their own language.
